Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. In this vital role, you will empower clients to maintain their independence, enhance their quality of life, and receive personalized assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs to promote health and well-being
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive workplace for clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning client spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury for both client and caregiver

Requirements





- Proven experience working as a Personal Support Worker or in similar caregiving roles, preferably within assisted living or nursing home environments
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential (where applicable)
- Experience working with individuals requiring specialized care such as dementia or chronic health conditions is highly desirable

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
