- Calculation or related payroll amounts such as commissions, bonuses, statutory pay and sick pay
- Data management of crew scheduling
- Reporting or related employee reconciliations
- Issuance of T4s, ROEs and related items
- Administer group health benefits and RRSP deductions
- Completion of Statistics Canada surveys
Reporting
- Expense accruals
- AP tracking
- Ad hoc reporting as required
Back-up Support
- Accounts Receivable
- Month-end reporting
Work Experience Requirements
- More than 2 years professional accounting related experience
- Experience with computerized accounting software (Simply accounting, Acc Pac,…)
proficient with MS excel, word, Google sheets, electronic payroll systems.
- Strong math, organization and scheduling skills
- Ability to adapt within a fast paced frequently changing environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills, verbal and written.
- Self motivated, organized and accountable
- Special consideration for candidates with event industry experience.
- Comfortable working with PC and Mac
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in accounting, business or related field of study.
- Have or working toward a CPA an asset
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
