About the firm:

We are a small, established solicitor’s practice in Niagara-on-the-Lake, providing legal services in real estate, estate planning and administration, and corporate law. Responsibilities:

- Open physical and electronic files and record client data and transaction details
- Ensure compliance with KYC requirements
- Review Agreements of Purchase and Sale and diarize critical dates
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with clients, lawyers, real estate agents, lenders, government departments, and other law firms
- Prepare legal documents using practice management software and other applications
- Prepare Statements of Adjustments, invoices, and trust disbursements
- Complete file closings and promptly report to clients and lenders





Required skills:

- Ability to work independently while managing multiple files and competing deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, courteous, and client-focused approach
- Experience using Teraview, Unity, LDD, FCT, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Adobe Acrobat, and other legal software relevant to real estate transaction is preferred. Candidates who are quick learners and have experience with comparable software are encouraged to apply.

Salary:

- Between $40,000 and $60,000, depending upon qualifications and experience

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
