About Us

S3 Concrete Inc. is a growing ready-mix concrete supplier serving residential and commercial projects throughout the Lower Mainland. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Controller to oversee our day-to-day accounting operations and support management with financial oversight.

We work alongside an external accounting firm that manages our financial statements, year-end reporting, and technical accounting. This position focuses on maintaining accurate day-to-day financial records, improving internal processes, and ensuring the accounting function runs efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Prepare internal reports and support management with financial information.
- Coordinate with our external accounting firm to ensure accurate and timely reporting.




- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and office efficiency.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- CPA designation is an asset but not required.
- Robust knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and general accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Construction or manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
