We are looking for energetic Food & Beverage staff to join the team to deliver an excellent guest experience at The CNE. We have several concessions and are hiring for a variety of positions ranging from deep frying & grilling to serving and cashier for the 18 days of the Canadian National Exhibition 2026.

Must be available all days of the fair.

Must be available on weekends, INCLUDING LABOUR DAY WEEKEND.

Only those available for all days will be hired.

Days off will be provided, but open availability is required.

Part time and full time hours available. Shifts range from 8hr to full days*. Must be available all 18 days. Longer shifts are encouraged. Additional work is available for those willing to travel, feel free to inquire about travel positions.

Duties Include:

- Cooks / Fry
- Cashier
- Prep

Responsibilities

- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Previous experience with deep fryers not required but preferred
- Must work well in fast pace environment
- Comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements





- ON Food Handlers Safety Certificate (can provide link to free online course, straightforward & takes 40min)
- Be 16 years of age or older on Aug 1, 2026.
- Be legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada.
- MUST be available to work for all 18 days of the The Ex.
- Complete and comply with all required training and policies
- MUST be able to stand for long periods of time.

Pay starting a minimum wage. Bonus given on performance. Our median team member earns $18+hr.

Include a copy of your resume, a little bit about yourself, and your availability for each day of the fair. Open availability + eagerness to work is highly preferred. Previous experience is an asset but not needed. Incomplete emails will be ignored. Be as specific as possible. EOE.
