At Blo We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients look and feel their best, with a strong focus on customer service and qualified hair styling. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, develop your skills, and build lasting client relationships in a welcoming environment. Prior experience in hair styling, sanitation, and retail sales is highly valued, along with excellent communication skills. The position involves providing exceptional service, upselling products and services, and maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products and additional salon services to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they feel valued and understood throughout their visit




- Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within the salon environment
- Stay current on industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training opportunities

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio of work preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon setting
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client experience
- Previous retail sales or front desk experience is a plus
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively

*This position requires availability to work on weekends

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
