Generations Cleaning is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Toronto, ON.

Position Details

- Location: Toronto, ON
- Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Sundays offf)
- Shift: 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM (4 hours per shift)
- Expected Hours: 24 hours per week

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, including:

Lunchroom / Cafeteria

- Sweep and damp mop hard surface floors
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and seating areas
- Wipe and disinfect countertops and accessible surfaces
- Clean exterior surfaces of appliances
- Spot clean walls and remove visible marks
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
- Clean sinks and surrounding countertops
- Dust ledges, vents, and accessible surfaces
- Ensure floors are free of food debris and maintain a hygienic environment

Washrooms (4)

- Sweep and wet mop floors using disinfectant
- Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, and fixtures
- Clean mirrors and polish chrome fixtures
- Wipe and disinfect partitions, doors, and handles
- Restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Empty sanitary and garbage receptacles
- Spot clean walls, doors, and partitions
- Deodorize washrooms and maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Hallways & Common Areas

- Sweep and mop hard surface flooring
- Dust and wipe baseboards, ledges, windowsills, and horizontal surfaces
- Spot clean interior glass and glass panels




- Clean door frames and handles
- Remove visible wall marks and smudges
- Empty garbage receptacles and replace liners
- Keep all common areas clean, organized, and presentable

Entrance & Vestibule

- Vacuum entrance mats
- Sweep and mop entrance flooring
- Clean interior and exterior glass doors
- Wipe door frames, push plates, and handles
- Spot clean surrounding walls
- Remove debris to maintain a welcoming first impression

Stairwells (3)

- Sweep and mop stair treads and landings
- Clean stairwell floors and edges
- Dust and wipe handrails
- Spot clean walls
- Remove debris from corners and landings
- Maintain safe, clean, and debris-free stairwells

Qualifications

- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Solid attention to detail and reliability
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
