Boundary Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician (RVT or Non-RVT) to join our growing small animal practice.

Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Provide compassionate nursing care and patient restraint.
- Prepare and maintain treatment and examination rooms.
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Assist with anesthesia and patient monitoring (based on experience and qualifications).
- Take digital radiographs.
- Assist with dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and post-operative instructions.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.

Qualifications

- Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician,



or equivalent veterinary experience.
- RVT registration is not required. Non-RVT technicians are welcome to apply.
- New graduates and internationally trained veterinarians or veterinary technicians are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
