Duties

- Supervise daily classroom activities to ensure they are engaging, educational, and developmentally appropriate for children of various ages and abilities
- Lead and support a team of caregivers and teachers by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to maintain high-quality care
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development, including social-emotional skills, cognitive growth, and physical activity
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships that support each child's unique needs
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and health standards to create a secure environment for children and staff




- Coordinate special programs or activities that enhance learning experiences and promote inclusivity for children with disabilities or special needs
- Maintain accurate documentation related to child development milestones, attendance records, incident reports, and staff schedules

Skills

- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or childcare settings
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs to adapt activities accordingly
- Solid teaching skills with the ability to create engaging lesson plans that stimulate learning
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices to support children's physical and emotional well-being
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, staff, and community partners
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude

Must have minimum 3-4 years experience working as Daycare Manager within Alberta. Must know all the rules and regulations to maintain the daycare within Alberta Childcare Compliance.

Pay: $15.70-$21.00 per hour
