Job Summary:

Operate manufacturing machines and assist in the production of granite monuments. Load and unload items from machines and production lines, record information such as products produced and manufacturing times and perform hands-on tasks in all aspects of our stone manufacturing plant operations.

Essential Functions:

- Adhere to operational standards for quality and workplace safety
- Operate machinery and tools to effectively create the finished product
- Load and unload items from machines and production lines
- Maintenance and repairs of machinery within plant
- Perform hands-on tasks in all aspects of our stone manufacturing plant operations
- Work overtime when required

Knowledge and Skills:

- A team player - We work as a team, so good interpersonal skills are important
- Hardworking and ability to work independently
- Flexible and able to work overtime when needed
- Good organizational skills
- The physical strength to lift and move products regularly is required




- The ability to perform a wide range of tasks related to general maintenance on equipment
- The ability to weld is considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.50 to 22.00 per hour

Experience Required:

Any prior experience in construction or factory work is an asset. Experience being multiskilled, versatile and adept in a multifaceted role. You will learn on-the-job, but practical experience using tools or machinery, or working as part of a production line, will prepare you for the role.

Education Required:

Basic reading, writing skills are required. There is no formal certification required, but any labourer or construction experience is considered an asset. On-the-job training is available for this position. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training may be required and will be provided.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
