We are a new, patient-focused general dental practice looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of general dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms before appointments and clean and reset operatories afterward.
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and charting.
- Perform instrument sterilization and maintain infection prevention and control standards.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-operative instructions.
- Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
- Work closely with the entire team to ensure an efficient, positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
program.
- Current registration and licensure in good standing with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP).
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry practice is preferred.
- Proficient with digital radiography and electronic dental records.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
