The North Shore Health Network sites have been serving their communities faithfully for many years providing emergency, acute, complex continuing care, long term care and community support services.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

· Diploma in Occupational Therapist Assistant program.

· In the absence of a diploma, Foreign trained and/or on the job training with a minimum of one year working under a physiotherapist in a Health Care Facility

· Ability to perform lifts and transfers with complex needs clients required

· Explicit criminal record.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· 2 Years’ experience in a related clinical setting (Hospital or LTC Setting)

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills; including conflict resolution and problem-solving.

· Good computer knowledge and skills in Word, Excel, Email.

· Excellent time management.

· Excellent attendance record.

SALARY RANGE:

· $29.278 - $33.454
