Veert Landscaping Inc, a COR Certified Commercial and Residential Landscaping contractor is seeking reliable experienced “Skilled General Labourer” for the 2019 landscaping season. In this position, you will be responsible in assisting the project team performing skilled general laborer duties as directed.
These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Load and unload materials.
- Use construction and landscaping tools and equipment to complete daily tasks including survey
equipment, skid steers, cut saws, packers and mini excavators
- Assist in the installation of softscape materials such as trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials.
- Assist in the installation of hardscape materials such as concrete curbs and sidewalks, asphalt
and precast concrete products.
- Accurately read and interpret construction documents
Requirements for this position are, but not limited to:
- Must possess a valid class 5 License, Class 3 license would be considered asset
- Must have own transportation
- Must have CSA approved steel toe work boots
- Must be available Monday to Saturday with some evening and weekend work
- Hourly started wage is $16.00 / hour and up depending on experience
