We are looking for an organized, energetic individual to join our small financial services firm, providing boutique insolvency services. Reporting to the Managing Director of the Consumer Insolvency Group, this role will become an integral part of the effective and productive running of our Toronto head office. Your days will be diverse, from assisting with integral business functions such as preparing and setting up files, completing insolvency mailings, preparing bankruptcy and proposal documents, communicating with creditors and providing all administrative functions supporting a busy and thriving small business.

Position Overview
Insolvency Administration
- Preparing and entering files in Ascend and internal systems
- Preparing bankruptcy documents
- Preparing proposal documents
- Communication with creditors
- Completing Insolvency Mailings
Banking
- Cheque deposits (in office and bank branch)
- Obtaining requisite Trustee signatures for cheques
- Printing and mailing
Mail
- Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail such as: priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence
- Open, scan, save, and electronically distribute incoming mail
- File mail in respective client files
- Assist with outgoing client-related mailings as required
- Monitor and distribute incoming faxes
Reception/Administrative Support
- Greet clients
- Assist with administrative support, as required, for the President and Trustees
- Assist team members with general administrative questions
- Liaise with IT solutions partner
- Assist with organizing occasional team lunches, including ordering, and arranging delivery, payment etc.
Office Management
- Maintain, update and log forms
- Logging printing and postage expenses
- Liaise with building management where necessary
- Order office and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with maintaining shared office space
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year experience in insolvency/office administration
- Strong knowledge of general office procedures (mail, procurement, time tracking)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products

Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9:00-5:00
Salary Range:
$40,000-45,000 commensurate with experience.
