Health Care Aide (HCA) – Community & Facility Care

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, children with disabilities, and veterans within the community and at Type A and Type B senior care sites.
The Opportunity
As an HCA with us, your focus will be on delivering high-quality, patient and family-centered care. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and our multidisciplinary management team to establish essential continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal assistance and direct care tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while maintaining their dignity and independence.
- Implement care using the agency’s exclusive Balanced Care Method™ and Cognitive Therapeutics Method™.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in every interaction.
- Monitor and report changes in client status to ensure timely and effective care interventions.

What You Bring
We are looking for professionals who combine clinical competence with a genuinely caring attitude.
- Registration: Active registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory (CLHA).
- Experience: A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a home care setting.
- Location: Currently residing in the Edmonton Area.
- Physical Ability: Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Assets: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities and those living with dementia.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex clinical and social environments with ease.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with families and care teams.
- Adaptability: Proficiency in balancing conflicting demands with composure and precision.
