Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages with enthusiasm
- Operate POS systems, including Givex POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation, food handling, and food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
- Ensure cleanliness of the front of house area, including dining spaces, counters, and service stations
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong focus on customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Givex POS, for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic food safety standards
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and upselling opportunities
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
