Job description

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annually bookkeeping using Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online and MS Excel
- Prepare Financial Statements according to CSRS 4200
- Prepare year end adjustments including but not limited to depreciation on capital assets, various accruals, accounts receivable reconciliation, bank reconciliation, identify unearned revenue, GST reconciliation and reasonability test, corporate tax accrual, T4 reconciliation and etc.
- Prepare various year end working paper as needed
- Prepare personal taxes including real estate rentals, capital gain/loss calculation on real estate and other investments in non-registered accounts, sole-proprietor business statements, foreign property disclosure and etc.
- GST preparation using regular method and quick method
- Corporate tax preparation

Qualifications





- Currently enrolled in an accounting or finance program at a post-secondary institution in Calgary
- No prior work experience is required
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
