Student Care is a group of eight established school-age care programs located in highly regarded elementary schools, providing quality and age appropriate program experiences for groups of children and families since 1988.

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals with Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1, 2, or 3 certification or those interested in pursuing an education in the ECE field to join our before and after school program teams at one of the locations listed below.

Location 1: Jennie Elliott Elementary School (3031 Lindsay Dr. SW). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:15 AM-9:15 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:15 AM-9:15 AM and 12:30 PM-6:00 PM, with optional lunch supervision at the Calgary Arts Academy from 11:45-1:00 PM on Fridays (total of 27.5 to 28.25 hours per week).

Location 2: Across the street from the Jennie Elliott Elementary School (3023 63 Ave. SW). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:15 AM-9:15 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:15 AM-9:15 AM and 12:30 PM-6:00 PM, with optional lunch supervision at the Calgary Arts Academy from 11:45-1:00 PM on Fridays (total of 27.5 to 28.25 hours per week).

Location 3: Sunalta Elementary School (536 Sonora Ave., SW). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 12:00 PM-6:00 PM (total 28 hours per week)

Location 4: Belfast School (1229 17A St. NE). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 12:00 PM-6:00 PM (total 28 hours per week).

Please note: On Non-School Days, staff may be scheduled to work an 8-hour straight shift.

The successful candidates will join an experienced team to implement the daily program plan which may include, but is not limited to, arts and crafts, science experiments, gross/fine motor activities both indoors and outdoors, homework support, engaging and supporting students who attend Kindergarten through Grade 6, and serving as an outstanding role model.
