RPI Consulting Group is Canada's leading healthcare staffing agency, partnering with some of Canada's most respected healthcare organizations and pharmacies. We are currently seeking a licensed Relief Pharmacist to join one of our valued pharmacy partners.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking to work in a high-volume, well-supported community pharmacy with multiple pharmacist overlap and a strong pharmacy assistant team. What We Offer
- Competitive compensation of $60.00–$65.00 per hour
- Full-time, 1-month relief assignment
- Supportive and collaborative pharmacy team
- 6 pharmacists scheduled throughout the day
- 6–8 Pharmacy Assistants providing workflow support
- Opportunity to gain experience in a busy, high-volume pharmacy
Schedule
- Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Schedule to be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
- Provide professional medication counselling and patient education.
- Ensure compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations and professional standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Resolve medication-related issues and answer patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Kroll Pharmacy Management System.
- Support inventory management and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to an productive workflow in a pharmacy processing approximately 400–500 prescriptions per day.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the applicable provincial College of Pharmacists (or eligible for licensure).
- Experience using the Kroll Pharmacy Management System is preferred.
- Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
