We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of construction and general labour tasks, including the use of hand tools, site cleanup, material handling, and supporting skilled tradespeople. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with consistent daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction and labour duties
- Operate and use basic hand tools safely and effectively
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment
- Perform site cleanup and maintain a safe work setting
- Assist carpenters, installers, and other trades as required
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks efficiently
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or general labour
- Experience using hand tools (such as drills, saws, hammers, measuring tools, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual and dependable with a positive attitude
