Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber Refrigeration or HVAC Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a reliable vehicle and living within close proximity or within Spruce Grove. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of codes, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency in using both hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Expected to work alongside owner of the company and eventually independently on his/her own jobs as assigned.
- Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Maintain and repair existing plumbing/HVAC and/or refrigeration systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
- Collaborate with other various trades/technicians when necessary for integrated system installations.
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations throughout all work processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the plumbing/refrigeration industry.
- Solid knowledge of plumbing/refrigeration/HVAC systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment related to plumbing tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as needed.
- A valid plumber's license is preferred but not mandatory.
