Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Packer (Lead)/Material Handlers to join our Day shift team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of finished goods, packaging, clean-up, and in providing support assistance to the production needs of all departments in the facility.

We specialize in manufacturing a variety of food grade packaging that sets new standards for safety, efficiency, and hygiene. Through collaboration with food producers, we develop solutions that maximize productivity while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Role Responsibilities:

- Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant manually, or with powered equipment.
- Maintain in-process inventory at production area by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Perform packing roles in manufacturing areas within the company as instructed.
- Prepare finished product for shipment by identifying, pulling, staging, and loading/securing the product
- Inspect product continuously to ensure conformity with quality and food safety standards
- Perform Daily Inspection and cleaning on the forklift, pallet jack and other equipment and work areas.
- Provide training to new Packer trainees in accordance to departmental procedures




- Assist the operators with line start-ups/shutdowns per their instructions and inform them of any production issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
- Perform Packing roles in manufacturing areas within the company as instructed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

- Minimum experience of 3 months operating forklifts is required.
- Valid forklift license is required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing/warehouse operations or material handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures is advantageous.

Shift Times:

- 12 hour continental shift (7am-7pm)
- 3-4 days per week
- Day Shift

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand 95% of the day
- Must be able to push/pull/lift (at least 40lbs)
- Must be able to push/pull ~ 650kg sacks using pallet jack
