Party Dawgz is looking for a reliable and energetic Daycare Attendant to join our team. If you enjoy working with dogs and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this role could be the perfect fit.

About the Role

As a Daycare Attendant, you will provide attentive care to the dogs in our facility, ensuring a clean, secure, and enriching environment. This is a physically active position that involves monitoring playgroups, cleaning, and supporting both dogs and team members throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Dog Supervision & Care

- Monitor playgroups for safety, behavior, and group dynamics
- Intervene as needed to redirect rough play or manage conflicts
- Assist with feeding, water replenishment, and medication (if applicable)
- Fulfill client requests related to enrichment or care routines

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

- Sanitize indoor and outdoor play areas throughout the day
- Clean kennels, floors, dishes, laundry, and waste stations
- Assist cleaning duties as assigned
- Ensure all supplies are restocked and equipment is used properly

Team & Client Support

- Provide support to coworkers during shift transitions and breaks
- Assist with check-ins and hand-offs when needed
- Communicate any concerns or incidents to the Manager promptly
- Maintain a calm, positive presence in the daycare environment

Skills & Qualifications

- Passion for animals and confidence handling dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Ability to stay calm and attentive in a fast-moving environment




- Willingness to do physical work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in a kennel, daycare, shelter, or pet setting is a plus

Work Conditions

- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs required
- Physically active role with long periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Indoor/outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Schedule includes mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as needed

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Daycare Manager and Business Owner

Schedule

This is a part-time position. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is appreciated.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
