The Hawk Golf Club is currently seeking Servers to join our team!
The Server is responsible for interacting with our guests and ensuring they have an excellent dining experience. This position provides friendly, skilled, and timely service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
As the successful candidate, your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Promote menu items and provide information about food and beverage selections.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Create positive guest interactions and respond to guest needs.
- Complete assigned opening and closing duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team and recognize the importance of each team member’s role in the guest experience.
- Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
The qualifications for this position are as follows:
- At least 1 year of serving experience preferred.
- Valid Smart Serve certification.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, golf club, or hospitality environment is an asset.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during busy periods.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Must have flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
