Roles & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for a variety of duties related to water & sewer trenching, ditching and varied excavation and packing tasks

· Reading and interpreting ground markings to ensure proper grade is followed

· Using an excavator to pack trenches to proper grade and depth

· Ability to work with trench boxes

· Lowering materials for piping crew

· Excellent communication with Foreman, Operators and Crew Members

· Perform daily equipment and safety maintenance checks

· Cleaning of heavy equipment

· Observe and report any hazards

· Ability to work as part of a team

Required Experience & Additional Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a operator is preferred

· Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices

· Must have your own transportation and valid drivers license

· Overtime will be required during peak construction months

· RSTS or CSTS Certificate is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
