Summary

Join our dynamic Shipping and Receiving team as a Forklift Operator, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our Yard and Parts Warehouse environment! You will be at the forefront of our material handling operations, including everything from the loading and unloading of shipments to maintaining a clean and organized inventory. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help maintain our high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading of shipments and the movement of product within the warehouse and outdoor storage units.
- Operate forklifts safely to move goods within the yard and warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and inventory management to ensure accurate shipments.
- Order preparation - sorting, packing, shrink-wrapping and stacking products securely.
- Facilitate Shop requests for parts needed for Service jobs.
- Rotating stock within storage units, both skidded and non-skidded.
- Sort and prepare parts and units for warranty or return - including use of general hand tools, and light mechanical tasks.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
- Conduct routine mechanical checks on equipment to maintain safety standards.
- Support warehouse and yard activities by organizing stock and optimizing space.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards.
- Lift heavy items safely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Please note, this role is primarily based outdoors and is exposed to all weather conditions and requires a high level of physical stamina and mobility.

Qualifications





- Forklift Certification - proven experience operating forklifts.
- Understanding of load capacities, forklift stability and safety procedures.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in all season/weather conditions.
- Ability to lift/lower, twist, carry, move objects up to 50 lbs safely.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, squat when required, safely.

Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
