Our client is a Renewable Energy Leader; they are looking to hire a skilled Construction Site Manager to oversee and manage all on-site activities for their Electrical Substation Project.

Please Note: This project is located in Timmins, ON on a Hydro One Site. The project is starting September 2026 until December 2027. Candidates will receive daily per diem, living expense and travel expense reimbursement.

Description

- Leading all on-site construction activities in alignment with project delivery schedule/activities to ensure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements
- Supporting in the negotiation of the subcontracts' specific terms and conditions, as well as technical and operational requirements
- Organizing and managing the Site Supervisors on site
- Leads or participates in site meetings related to the Construction scope, and whenever required, with Customer, sub-contractors, and company site personnel.




- Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel regarding health and safety practices, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract management and change orders
- Strong Health and Safety background with the ability to promote an excellent health and safety culture
- Engineering degree or MSc. degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related
- Experience working on Utility, Electrical Substation or Power Generation Projects is preferred
- Strong background with site electrical equipment and procedures
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Flexibility and an open mindset are important features to be successful in this role
