We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant retail team. Duties

- Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, including sales, merchandising, and customer service initiatives
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse retail sales team through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee inventory control processes such as stock replenishment, purchasing, and stock organization to maximize product availability and minimize loss
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, refunds, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to boost sales and meet store targets
- Conduct hiring interviews, employee orientation sessions, and ongoing training to ensure team competency in retail operations
- Maintain operational standards by supervising cashiering duties, bookkeeping tasks, payroll processing, and store cleanliness

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry with supervisory responsibilities




- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and merchandising principles
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team management and employee development
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, budgeting, and inventory control
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing candidates, and onboarding recent employees
- Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques such as negotiation, upselling, and customer service excellence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using effective time management skills
- Knowledge of operational procedures including purchasing, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and store safety protocols
- Organizational skills to oversee stock levels, store layout adjustments, and promotional displays effectively
