Duties

- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate retail sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations to foster team growth
- Coordinate recruiting efforts through interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff members
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage operational budgets to ensure financial accuracy
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales performance

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry with supervisory experience
- Strong skills in negotiation, sales management,



and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with team management and managerial communication expertise
- Knowledge of retail math, merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and operational management practices
- Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining organizational skills and time management
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training staff, and managing payroll processes
- Prior grocery store or wireless sales experience is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for retail is essential
