Looking to add an extra shift or two to your current schedule as well as have the chance to work in a quiet, private setting? I am a disabled female in a powered wheelchair, looking to employ a caring, punctual, and reliable, caregiver(s) to assist me with my daily routines in my home. I live in an accessible home in the Brampton/Caledon area with my family and small dog. I am looking preferably for English speaking, female attendants with experience as a PSW/caregiver (or other related experience). The current available shifts are:

7:30am - 4:00pm Thursdays

9am - 3:00pm Saturdays (alternating weekends)

Possible overnight shift and additional emergency shifts available

I am looking for one or. more caregiver to fill these shifts (when applying please indicate which days you are interested in). Paid training will begin immediately, ready to start the position by the end of August.

Main Duties:

-assistance with washing, toileting, dressing, and oral care





-safe transfers using ceiling lift

-meal preparation and feeding (for myself and my dog)

-ROM exercises

-light housekeeping

- companionship

Additional Information:

-must be living in Canada

-MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE TO DRIVE TO MY HOME- there is no bus service in the area, so please no applicants that do not have a vehicle

-must be comfortable with having a small dog around and picking him up

-training will be provided

-must be a non-smoker

-current CPR and First Aid ideal

-current police reference check

-FLUENT in English as my speech is impaired

This is not a cash job - there will be payroll deductions such as CPP, income tax and EI as this job is funded by the government. Pay is biweekly.
