We are looking for a highly experienced Accountant or Financial Analyst to join our growing commercial finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing professional Business Plans, Financial Projections, Cash Flow Forecasts, and lender-ready financial packages for businesses seeking financing.

Our firm receives a consistent flow of financing applications every week from businesses across various industries. We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

- Prepare professional Business Plans for commercial lending applications.
- Develop detailed 3-5 year Financial Projections, Cash Flow Forecasts, and Budget Forecasts.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and supporting financial documents.
- Prepare financing packages for:
- Canada Small Business Financing Program (CSBFP/CSBFL)
- Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) Loans
- Business Lines of Credit
- Term Loans
- Equipment Financing
- Working Capital Loans
- Commercial Mortgages
- Government-backed financing programs
- Applications submitted to Schedule I & II Canadian Banks, Credit Unions, Alternative Lenders, and other Financial Institutions.
- Analyze business performance and identify financial strengths and risks.
- Work directly with business owners and our consultants to collect financial information.




- Ensure all applications meet lender requirements before submission.
- Handle multiple financing files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

- CPA designation or equivalent accounting experience is an asset.
- Strong experience preparing Business Plans and Financial Projections.
- Experience with commercial lending or business financing applications.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
