Job Summary
Maplecures Pharmacy is a community-focused pharmacy committed to providing exceptional patient care, personalized service, and efficient pharmacy operations. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing community pharmacy.

Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy.
- Provide professional pharmacy services and ensure safe and effective medication management.
- Review, interpret, dispense, and counsel patients on prescriptions and medication use.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario pharmacy legislation, standards of practice, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain appropriate pharmacy policies, procedures, documentation, and quality assurance programs.
- Supervise, train, motivate, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, assistants, and other team members.
- Establish efficient workflow and maintain high standards of accuracy and patient safety.
- Oversee prescription processing, medication dispensing, clinical services, and patient inquiries.
- Develop solid relationships with patients, physicians, healthcare providers, and the local community.
- Monitor inventory, purchasing, expiry management, controlled substances, and appropriate medication storage.
- Oversee third-party insurance billing and resolve prescription or insurance-related issues.
- Monitor pharmacy performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming pharmacy environment.
- Ensure the pharmacy team delivers exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Participate in and promote pharmacy programs and services that support patient health and wellness.




- Handle operational issues and resolve patient concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all pharmacy documentation is completed appropriately.

Requirements

- Licensed and in good standing as a Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Previous experience in a community/retail pharmacy environment.
- Previous pharmacy management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario pharmacy regulations, standards, and professional practice.
- Excellent clinical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy community pharmacy.
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Software is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing, third-party billing, inventory management, and pharmacy workflow.
- Ability to build positive relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
