About the Role

As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care while adapting to new healthcare environments. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams,

utilize electronic documentation systems, and deliver high-quality nursing services that support positive patient outcomes.

Specialty Opportunities

- Emergency Nursing (ER)

Emergency Nurses provide frontline care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, emergency interventions,



and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

- Medical-Surgical Nursing (Med/Surg)

Medical-Surgical Nurses care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-operative needs. This specialty requires strong assessment skills, medication management, care planning, patient education, and coordination of care for complex patient populations.

- Obstetrics (OBS)

Obstetrical Nurses provide care and support throughout the childbirth journey, including labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, maternal assessments, newborn care, and patient education. Candidates should be comfortable managing both routine and high-acuity maternal care situations.

- Long-Term Care (LTC)

Long-Term Care Nurses provide ongoing care to residents requiring supportive, rehabilitative, and chronic disease management services. This includes medication administration, dementia care, resident assessments, family communication, and promoting quality of life for seniors.

- Rural Combination Units

We have a particularly high demand for nurses experienced in:

- Emergency + Obstetrics (ER/OBS)
- Emergency + Medical-Surgical (ER/Med-Surg)
- Medical-Surgical + Long-Term Care (Med-Surg/LTC)

These assignments require versatile clinicians who are confident managing diverse patient

populations and adapting to the unique demands of rural healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive nursing care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor responses to treatment.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as required.




- Utilize electronic health records, including systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Adhere to organizational policies, infection prevention standards, and professional nursing practices.

Qualifications

Required:

- Active CRNA and/or CRNNL registration/licensure in good standing, or eligibility to obtain provincial registration prior to deployment.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Canadian nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Emergency, Med/Surg, Obstetrics, LTC, or a combination of these specialties.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred

- Rural or remote nursing experience.
- Experience in pediatric care.
- Dementia and senior care experience.
- Home care or community nursing experience.
- Acute care hospital experience.
- Case management experience.
- IV therapy and phlebotomy skills.
- Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, and other electronic charting platforms.
