Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, and preventive care with precision and compassion
- Utilize dental software Tracker to manage patient records efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose dental conditions using medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants,
and office staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term oral health
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
Skills
- Licensed to practice dentistry in Ontario
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate diagnosis and communication
- Hands-on experience in a busy dental office environment demonstrating excellent organizational skills
- Skilled in using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing restorations or orthodontic appliances
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
