ShearComfort is accepting applications for an experienced Web Developer who will help contribute to our longstanding online brand presence and success by working closely with our Senior Web Developer. This role will consist of a variety of eCommerce programming development, maintenance tasks, and website improvements.

What We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, detail-oriented Web Developer that is hard working, and diligent in completing tasks. This candidate will be well-versed in many programming languages and have a good understanding of many online platforms including BigCommerce. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated when necessary but can adapt and collaborate on various projects. In order to be successful in this position, applicants should be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment due to the ever-changing nature of eCommerce.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

● Write and edit standards-compliant HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and React
● Extensive Knowledge of BigCommerce E-commerce platform
● Be proficient with PostgreSQL or any other SQL type
● Maintain version control, error checking, and troubleshooting of finished projects and A/B tests
● Report progress on projects, milestones, and individual tasks via online group management tools
● When necessary, research, test, and implement new tools, technologies, and vendors
● Other online marketing tasks as assigned - SEO, social media, link building outreach, email campaigns, etc.
● Web design: layout, user interface,



and graphic design in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Build Photoshop / Illustrator designs out into working, valid code.
● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS)

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

● Advanced coding and programming skills

● Knowledge of website interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards

● Detailed oriented and self-motivated individual

● Strong understanding of Internet security best practices

● Collaboration skills to work with inter-departmental disciplines and stakeholders of all kinds

Compensation and Salary

$55,000-$75,000, based on experience

Work Hours/Week: 37.5 hrs

Benefits: Extended Health and Dental Benefits after 3 months of full-time work
