Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations while driving revenue strategy for our hospitality establishment. This hybrid role combines hands-on operational leadership — staff supervision, guest services — with strategic revenue management, including pricing, forecasting, and market analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry to maximize both profitability and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Revenue & Strategy
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue across all departments
- Analyze market trends, booking patterns, and competitor activity to inform pricing decisions
- Monitor daily revenue performance and adjust strategies proactively to meet targets
- Oversee budgeting and revenue forecasting processes
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to align revenue goals with business objectives
Operations & Team Leadership
- Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Supervise and train front desk, reservations, and guest services staff
- Handle payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and conducting stock audits
- Maintain a clean, organized,
and welcoming property environment
Guest Relations
- Ensure excellent service delivery and resolve guest inquiries and issues promptly
- Drive sales initiatives through direct guest engagement
- Maintain professional phone etiquette and communication standards at all times
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or management experience in the hospitality industry, ideally spanning both operations and revenue management
- Robust background in hotel operations, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in payroll systems and basic financial math
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and develop strategic pricing/revenue plans
- Knowledge of hospitality software and revenue management tools preferred
- Excellent leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Bilingual/multilingual proficiency a strong asset for communicating with diverse guests and staff
