*Carpentery Service Technician (Subcontract)

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dependable, multi-skilled Carpentry Service Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in solving problems.

One day you may be framing a wall.

The next you may be installing trim, patching drywall, laying flooring, installing a vanity, completing a punch list or helping prepare a project for another trade.

Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for a variety of residential renovation work including:

- Interior framing and backing
- Blocking and miscellaneous carpentry
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Drywall finishing and touch-ups (preferred)
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Baseboard, casing and finish carpentry
- Interior door installation and adjustments
- Cabinet installation and adjustments
- Flooring installation and repairs (LVP, engineered hardwood, laminate)
- Bathroom accessory installation
- Site protection and preparation
- Final deficiency and punch-list completion
- Warranty and service work
- Assisting other trades as required
- Maintaining a clean,



organized and safe jobsite
- Communicating daily progress with our team

We're Looking For Someone Who:

- Has at least 5 years of residential renovation experience
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Takes pride in high-quality workmanship
- Is reliable, punctual and organized
- Communicates professionally with homeowners
- Can troubleshoot problems and think independently
- Has experience across multiple trades—not just one specialty
- Is comfortable using a smartphone for communication, photos and daily updates
- Wants a long-term working relationship

Requirements

- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence
- Reliable transportation
- Professional tools suitable for residential renovations
- Liability insurance
- WSIB coverage (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work throughout Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville and surrounding areas

Compensation

- Daily subcontract rates based on experience and project scope
- Consistent year-round work for the right candidate
- Prospect to transition into a larger role as the company grows
