Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment through thorough cleaning routines
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including dough making and ingredient handling, following safety and hygiene standards
- Support the kitchen team by washing dishes promptly to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service times
- Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and a friendly demeanor, ensuring excellent customer experiences
- Follow food handling procedures meticulously to uphold health regulations and quality standards
- Help with general kitchen organization, including stocking supplies and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver efficient service and support the overall operation of the restaurant or café
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, with knowledge of food service operations
- Solid skills in cleaning, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards in a busy environment
- Ability to assist with food preparation tasks such as dough making and basic cooking techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude towards guests and team members
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols in a professional setting
- Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality environments is advantageous
