About The Clean Ritual

The Clean Ritual connects vetted, independent residential cleaning professionals with clients across Ontario. We handle client booking, scheduling coordination, and payment processing — you focus on the work and build your own client base and hours.

The Role

We're looking for one experienced cleaning contractor in Windsor-Essex and one in Kitchener-Waterloo to join our contractor network. This is ideal for someone already doing residential or commercial cleaning who wants to add more hours, fill schedule gaps, or grow a steady client roster — not a full-time employment position.

What You'll Do

- Provide residential (and/or commercial) cleaning services for clients booked through The Clean Ritual
- Manage your own schedule and accept jobs that fit your availability
- Bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment (or confirm supply arrangements in advance)
- Maintain quality and reliability standards to build repeat clients
- Communicate directly with The Clean Ritual on scheduling and any client concerns

What We're Looking For

- Prior experience in residential and/or commercial cleaning (paid, professional experience — not just personal household cleaning)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the region




- Own basic cleaning equipment/supplies (or willingness to discuss arrangements)
- Comfortable operating as a self-employed/independent contractor (own insurance and business registration are assets, not requirements to start)
- Strong communication and time management
- Ability to pass a background/reference check

Contractor Terms (Key)

This is a genuine independent contractor relationship — you are free to:

- Set your own hours and decline jobs
- Work for other clients or platforms simultaneously
- Use your own methods and supplies to complete the work

You are responsible for your own taxes (HST/GST as applicable) and any required insurance.

Compensation

Between $22 - 30/hour, depending on experience
