We are currently hiring a reliable and hard-working Concrete Manufacturing Labourer / Technician for a growing production facility located in Nisku.
This is a hands-on, production-based role suited for someone who takes pride in physical work, consistency, and showing up ready every day.
Compensation
$22.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Overtime paid after 44 hours per week
Vacation pay paid out on each pay cheque
Job Responsibilities
- Mixing concrete batches to specified recipes
- Pre-packing raw materials and ingredients
- Building and preparing forms and moulds
- Casting concrete into forms and moulds
- Washing and maintaining forms, moulds, and tools
- Packaging finished concrete products
- Operating a forklift (training/certification considered an asset)
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop and workspace
- Cleaning equipment and assisting with daily production setup
Work Environment
- Repetitive, production-based work
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Physically demanding role (lifting, standing, moving throughout shift)
- Working with concrete, dust, and industrial equipment
- Use of vibration equipment, pressure washers, and industrial tools
- Exposure to oils, release agents, and cleaning chemicals
- High-noise environment requiring hearing protection
- Strict PPE requirements must be followed at all times
Schedule
Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
10-hour shifts
Occasional Saturday work required
Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation to Nisku
- Must be ready to work at 6:00 AM (arriving early, prepared, and on the floor at start time)
- Comfortable working long hours and repetitive tasks
- Must be willing to work in a high-noise environment and wear required PPE at all times
- Must be able to maintain a clean-shaven face for proper respirator seal
- Must be willing to complete and pass a respirator fit test
- Forklift experience is an asset (but not required)
- Concrete or manufacturing experience is considered an asset
