We are a personal injury firm looking to add a full-time legal assistant.
The ideal candidate will assist in various legal tasks in personal injury claims from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the accident benefits system (SABS) and License Appeal Tribunal (LAT) proceedings.
This would include communicating with clients, requesting records, and drafting accident benefits and tort forms and pleadings. This is an excellent opportunity to advance in the personal injury field.
Duties
- Manage and organize case files and documents;
- Assist in drafting legal documents and correspondence;
- Draft accident benefits documents (OCF Forms);
- Handle phone calls with professionalism;
- Support coordination of personal injury accident benefits and tort claims.
