Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. This role is essential in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for our clients, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives through attentive caregiving and support.

Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with activities that promote independence and social engagement
- Document care provided accurately and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors




- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for clients and staff

Requirements

- Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, working with individuals with disabilities, dementia care, and medication administration is highly desirable
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform caregiving duties with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Physical ability to assist with mobility support and perform light cleaning or meal preparation tasks
- Reliable transportation or the ability to commute easily to client locations if required
- Must be willing to undergo background checks and adhere to health and safety regulations
