Vernon Volkswagen is looking for a motivated Junior Back-Counter Parts Advisor to join our team.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in the automotive industry and learn how a dealership Parts Department operates. Previous parts or dealership experience is an asset, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and put away parts stock
- Answer phones and assist with parts inquiries
- Learn the Volkswagen ETKA parts catalogue
- Look up parts for customer and dealership vehicles
- Assist technicians and Service Advisors
- Prepare and deliver parts as needed
- Shuttle customers or vehicles when required
- Help maintain a clean and organized Parts Department
Qualifications
- Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry
- Willingness to learn
- Solid attention to detail
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Valid BC driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
