Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Full-Time Elementary Math Teacher & Program Coordinator to join our educational center.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners while managing and enhancing our innovative math programs. The ideal candidate will bring energy, organization, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for elementary students. As a key team member, you will deliver engaging math instruction, coordinate program activities, and support students’ academic growth in a bilingual setting.

Teaching & Student Learning:

- Teach elementary mathematics (Kindergarten to Grade 7) in small-group classroom settings.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support student learning and progress.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and communicate with parents when needed.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Camp Leadership

- Lead Summer, Spring Break, Winter Break, and Pro-D Day camps.
- Plan and facilitate engaging academic, STEM, and recreational activities.
- Ensure student safety and maintain effective classroom management.
- Supervise and support teaching assistants and volunteers during camp programs.

Program Coordination & Administration

- Coordinate class schedules, student registrations, attendance, and program logistics.




- Communicate professionally with parents regarding programs and student progress.
- Prepare classroom resources and maintain student records.
- Assist with workshops, special events, and the daily operations of the learning centre.

Team Collaboration

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality educational programs.
- Support curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings and career development.
- Take initiative and contribute to the overall success of the learning centre.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience teaching elementary-aged students.
- Experience leading Summer, Spring Break, Winter Break, or other children's camps is preferred.
- Passionate about working with children and creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
- Fluent in English.
- Teaching certification (BC or international) is an asset but not required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
