Job Overview
Maritime Gourmet Mushrooms inc. is looking for a personable and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team for 30-40 hours a week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for cooking. The successful candidate must be adaptable; as this is a hybrid position that will work on the farm in Debert; as well as at the farmer’s markets and deliveries in Halifax. Duties

- Farmers Market Sales
- Building Relationships with Customers
- Creating Display’s
- Harvesting and Packing Mushrooms
- Deliveries to Local NS Restaurants
- Crop Input
- Quality Assurance
- Clean Prep Room
- Packaging Line Setup
- Other General Duties as Needed.

Requirements

- Driver’s License with a Clean Driving Record
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to Create Genuine Relationships
- Ability to Multitask and Prioritize Tasks Effectively




- Basic Math Skills
- Must be able to Regularly Lift up to 35 lbs
- Responsible, Accountable, and Reliable
- Solid Work Ethic
- Ability to Work Independently
- Flexible Schedule
- Criminal Record Check

Experience is not required, but welcomed. All customer service skills and job duties will be taught through hands on training over time. Must be coachable, reliable, adaptable, positive and have a desire to seek continuous growth in your role.
