Manager, Cybersecurity Platforms

Annual salary: $ 109,700.00 - 138,700.00

Position Highlights
The Cybersecurity Platforms manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Cybersecurity Infrastructure
team; including staffing, hands on platform support, and other relevant technical team lead functions.

What you'll do

- Is responsible for overseeing the operation of all BCH Managed Cybersecurity (Endpoint protection, Web Proxy,

Vulnerability management, Security Logging) tools and platforms.

- Co-ordinate and take part of the team's after hours on call rotation.

- Continually improve the platforms, including tuning, implementation of new use cases, updates to existing use cases, and

automation.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and peer teams and escalate issues to them as needed.

- Provide cybersecurity tools and best practices to projects to ensure consistency and efficiency.

- Create and track metrics to continuously make improvements to SOC and platform efficiencies,



processes, and

procedures.

- Technical resource for capital projects or work programs.
- Mentor and support team members with changes, incident response, and customer escalations.

- Oversee performance of cybersecurity service providers.

What you bring

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).

- 7+ years of experience working in complex IT technical environments including troubleshooting and performing root cause

analysis.

- In-depth experience in cybersecurity platforms incident response and management processes and tools and IT operations.

- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with technical staff, lines

of business and senior management.

- Industry qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security

Manager (CISM) or the equivalent would be considered an asset.
