Work Schedule
- Part-time (approximately 10–32 hours per week)
- Hours scheduled based on production needs
- Adaptable schedule with advance notice whenever possible
- Additional hours available as the business grows
Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Operate plastic extrusion equipment and production lines
- Perform extrusion processing and manufacturing tasks
- Assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair extrusion equipment
- Assist with equipment setup, testing, and commissioning
- Monitor product quality and production efficiency
- Load raw materials and move finished products
- Lift, carry, and transport heavy materials and equipment safely
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Attend trade shows and industry events to represent AINSKO Industries Corp. and introduce our products and technologies to customers
- Travel occasionally within Canada or internationally (when required) to attend trade shows, customer visits, equipment installations, and technical support activities
- Participate in company-provided training covering extrusion machine assembly, maintenance, repair, operation, customer support, and plastic processing techniques
- Perform other production, warehouse, and general business duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable communicating professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members
- Confident representing the company at trade shows and customer events
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving heavy materials and equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in plastic extrusion, plastic processing, manufacturing, or industrial equipment is an asset
- Experience assembling or repairing industrial machinery is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Positive attitude, initiative, and a strong desire to learn new skills and grow alongside a startup company
