Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office / pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide , manage electronic medical records, and assist with administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. Prior experience with electronic health records and office management systems is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally , ensuring a welcoming environment
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient communications
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting insurance information and payments
- Prepare and organize patient charts, documentation, and other administrative paperwork
- Schedule appointments efficiently while managing calendar conflicts and patient preferences
- Handle correspondence, faxing, scanning, and filing documents accurately within electronic medical records systems
- Maintain a clean and organized area to promote a professional atmosphere
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
Experience
- Prior experience as Medical Office Assistant is preferred or pharmacy
- Familiarity with Accuro systems is desirable and/or Kroll
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings is essential
- Experience working in a medical office environment demonstrating strong organizational skills
- Office experience involving front desk responsibilities, multi-line phone systems, and administrative support is advantageous
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
