As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Flatbed Dispatcher who is motivated, organized, and skilled at securing profitable freight while building strong relationships with brokers and customers.

Experienced Flatbed Dispatcher
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: CAD $48,000–$60,000 per year (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordinate a fleet of flatbed trucks.
- Source and book profitable freight through load boards such as DAT and Truckstop, as well as our existing customer base.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with brokers and customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight brokers and direct customers.
- Plan efficient routes to maximize truck utilization and profitability.
- Monitor load progress and provide timely updates to drivers and customers.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company policies.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience dispatching flatbed trucks in the U.S. market.
- Proven ability to book profitable loads and negotiate freight rates.
- Strong knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, and other freight load boards.
- Understanding of U.S. trucking regulations, cross-border operations, and Hours of Service.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trucks in a quick-paced environment.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is an asset.
