We are seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join our team! In this role you will be providing workmanship by maintaining and improving production tooling, and supporting Ultramet's Press Shop delivery commitments.

Shift: Day Shift 7:00am- 3:00pm

We are located at 5153 Fountain St. N (Breslau, ON)

Reporting to: Tooling Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

- Perform machining operations to a high degree of tolerance.
- Operate an overhead crane.
- Troubleshoot, and make the necessary press adjustments
- Maintain, improve, repair or modify tools, dies and fixtures
- Able to read/interpret part drawings
- Able to interpret CMM reports and make the necessary corrections to tools
- List recommendations for Tool improvements
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed
- Experience in Progressive Dies

Requirements and Qualifications

- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.




- Recognized completion of Tool and Die Apprenticeship or 5 years related experience in tool and progressive die maintenance in a stamping environment
- Overhead Crane Certificate
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to approximately 40 lbs
- Transfer die experience
- Previous experience within the automotive manufacturing industry is an asset
